can you guys help me out?

Could all you guys do me a favour and vote for Van Halen in the top 1000 rock songs on my local radio's website? I relise that very few of you will actually get to listen to it so there's no real incentive to vote - but like loyal Van Halen fans I am asking you to help nominate a REAL song for the number one spot in the top 1000. Its gonna be tough but I think we may be able to shake things up a bit. Last year Kiss's I was made for loving you was number one. Now, I think we can find a VH songh that rivals that. Last year VH peaked at I think around 30 - way too low for they greatest rock band ever!

So now its just a question of where to go and what to vote for. I think we should all go for hot for teacher. Any other suggestions? It is important that we all vote for the same song though.

The site is http://mrock.com.au and you just click on the "top 1000 rock songs ever" icon on the right.

So is it hot for teacher we are going for?

If thats the Sydney MMM thing, I suggest Jump - it usually polls well anyway on that chart (30ish every time), so we can piggyback our votes on top of the ones it would get anyway!

And yeh, I nearly crashed my car when KISS won it last year *scream*

Man, it's not even a question of liking or disliking KISS. They have dozens of songs that are WAY better than I Was Made For Loving You. Oh well, opinions opinions opinions.

Your right Goo, good thinking. I just thought it'd be cool to hear a fully classic VH song that is "unheard of" to the general public go to number 1! But I agree better not to swim against the flow - Jump it will be!

Goo, I think the runner up last year was something from Led Zep of it could have been Bohemian Raphsody. I can't remember but it was something in that caliber.

I just went over there and put another one in for Jump. I don't know if you can vote twice (I must have voted 20 times!) but what the hell!
