Did Cherone suffer the Same fate as John Corabi in The Crue??

Now that Gary Cherone has been gone for a bit over two years is he suffering the same fate as John Corabi did with Motley Crue. The fans hated him because he just was not Vince!!!

After Vince came back and John Left more and more people including Hardcore Crue heads started to buy the album and actually raved about it.FYI, MC94 has sold more copies than the Generation Swine and New Tattoo.

Now as for Gary, More and more people including VH fans are startimg to come around the see the album as a true piece of music. As one journalist said in Australia, VH3 is the most underated album of Rock in the last 10 years.

Gary Cherone is not to blame cause his name is not Sammy or Dave. Gary is a poet, a man of soul!!!

Yeah, I think Gary got a bad deal. Ed was tired of writing party songs and wanted the music to evolve. The fans didn't want change. The music on VH3,which EVH wrote, was different from previous VH releases so the new guy,Gary, took all the heat. And to be honest, his vocals weren't nearly as good as they were on the Extreme records. And I believe I read an interview with Ed stating that he coached Gary vocally. Well, we all now know what Ed's vocals sound like thanks to How Many Say I. All I have to say is that I'd take Gary with Van Halen over the current No Halen anyday. He tore it up live.

it's as simple as that.

i wonder if anyone could live up to the expectations we have. we've been without VH for so long, when they do come back, it probably won't be what we expect.

nevertheless, gary is a stand-up guy. he gave it a good shot but there was no way people would accept him no matter how good or bad he was in VH.

Gary was the fall guy for the worst bait-and- switch in the history of rock-and-roll.

For Van Halen to record new material with DLR, and then parade him out in front of the whole world on MTV, thereby getting millions of die-hard classic VH fans excited that what they had been hoping for since 1985 was finally going to happen, and to then turn around and kick Diamond Dave to the curb and hire some guy from a wannabe Van Halen band, well, I think we know how the rest turned out.

Is it any wonder that Van Halen III and the subsequent tour both bombed? Is it any wonder that Gary Cherone was no longer Eddie's "musical soulmate"? Is it any wonder that Eddie, Alex and Michael are all swallowing their collective pride and biting the bullet in order to bring DLR back again? Come on people, there is no alternative. They know it as well as we do.

I bet we will hear something BIG within two weeks.

actually I always liked what Corabi did with Crue, even though it really wasn't true Crue, I still liked it....he has a kick ass voice...very ballsy!!!

I heard that album has sold almost 2 million copies too...
