Remember Don Landee, the 5th member?

Anyone know whatever happened to Don? Has he ever worked with anyone else? I know that he and Edward were very close friends, and if I remember correctly, he was always called the 5th member of the band. I understand that it was one of the hardest decisions Ed had to make to let him go after OU812.

Although I brought this up in the OU812 remix thread, it seems that Don dropped the ball on that album, maybe causing his departure from 5150 and VH. But, Don really had a unique way of bring out that classic sound from the band.

Wondering if he as engineered for other famous bands and if he and Ed keep in touch with each other......Umm, let's ponder this awhile. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I've always wondered if, with his alcoholism and the fact that they made OU812 after his father passed away, Ed's ears just failed him on that album. Or more specifically, he wasn't really able to focus and pay enough attention to what he was hearing to properly judge it.

I read somewhere that Donn is making computer programs now, kinda slipped out of the music biz. Ed claims he's still in contact with him.
