Sure sounds like Eddie wants reunion with Dave

With the Golf Mag interview and ALOT of VH talk in the news and newspapers, it sure sounds to me that Eddie is pumped this time for the reunion.

Its sounds it like it will happen, but when who knows?

One thing for sure, Ed has been rather public lately.

And thats a damn good sign.

I agree Eddymon. eddie sounds more more casual about having this reunion then i expected. i thought he would be strictly against it. but he comes off like he wouldnt mind joining back up with roth. maybe this cancer thing has taught him to not waste life bickering and patch things up.

I would agree with both of your statements. Ed has changed a lil it seems.

He sure does not seem like the bitter person he was a few years back. I dont know Ed at all, only what I read, but he sure did not seem bitter about Dave or a reunion. It was really refreshing to hear him say that him and Dave had a few laughs and such. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Twice yesterday I had to listen to DJ's talk about the Max Golf interview. And I think you guys are right about this. Both sides sound sincere and "positive for the future"

I agree - Ed doesn't sound dead against the reunion. It's pretty clear that his health and lawyers have held things up. About the lawyers - I would imagine that Dave wants a long term agreement; Ed and the guys want it one cd at a time; Dave wants some increased royalties and VH wants less (i.e. give MA, Ed and Al the lions share).

So at this point - if I were Dave, I would take the one CD at a time deal with a reduced cut of the deal (maybe take 15 versus 20-25%). This will re-surface his name back to the mainstream in a postive manner - and give him more musical muscle with labels if VH falls apart again.
