I'm really not making fun of him, but the more I just stare at his face, the more I want to run out of the room! Is he still on drugs? I thought he was a total health nut now. I know he's done a lot in the past, but he really looks freakish now.

Do you realize that the man is not in his 20's anymore? Those days are gone bro. That was 20 years ago. People age. Doesn't mean the guy can't still put on a show for us. Be thankful that this is at least something. An opportunity to hear two versions of Halen songs in one setting.

If they decide to add east coast dates, I'll be there.

Don't get me wrong, I love Dave's years in VH, I'm not missing the concert either. I know people age, but he's only 47.

His hair is fried, his skin is horrible, and those faces he makes a scary! [img]graemlins/scared.gif[/img]

It's just that picture right there that freaks me out. He has his head cocked, all his muscles in his face and neck are flexed, his hair is fried, and he's got that freaky smile going on. It's just a little on the odd side.

I'm not a big fan of Dave's "cocaine on amphetamines with a side of nuclear detonation" smile, but I guess I can't fault the guy for looking happy. Really, considering Dave's image is of a man who lives life to the fullest, I'd say he looks pretty good. I don't even think his hair looks that bad, it kind of reminds me of how he looked in about 1982. I don't mind him going bald, but there is going to come a point where it's time to let it go. Dave's getting close to that point, but if he's comfortable the way he is now, that's cool. As long as he doesn't take to wearing hats everywhere, that's lame. BE BOLD, BE BALD I always say!!!

I think physically Dave has held together very well. I wish his I could say the same about his voice, but here's hoping that he's taking care of it the best he can for the roadshow ahead.

Here's the problem. Older men with long hair look, well, not as cool as they once did. The guy has to realize that he can't relive the past. Bikers look cool with long hair even if they are balding. Therefore the man should grow a beard or goatee and dress more like a tough guy and less like the spandexed pantsed Pop clown of yester year.

Why is it a retard like Madonna can reinvent herself yet our boy is still acting like it is 1983? I don't get it.

Dave is one of the greatest showmen in music. I think his problem might be that he just doesn't know when to turn it off. I think he's probably a pretty normal guy when the cameras are off, but as soon as the lights go on, he turns on his Dave TV personality. What works on stage doesn't always work well in an interview, or in public. Some of the stuff that worked on stage for him 15 years ago might not even work on stage now. Maybe he could take a page from the Steven Tyler playbook, and run with it. Steven is no spring chicken either, but he is still wild, without people wondering if he is half retarded. I can't say I'm a big fan of the grin either, but if I got half the pussy he has had in his lifetime, I'd probably have the same goofy ass grin on my face until you planted me in the ground.
