not to brag, but i just got my remastered vh cds in the mail today. and OU812. i got 5 remastered because i already have VH1. The first thing i did was pop in FAIR WARNING!

The remastering on these is excellent. FAIR WARNING always sounded the best to me on the original CD's, but now it sounds even better.

I bought all of the remasters a few months ago and I don't know why it took me so long. All of them sound so much better. Especially Diver Down.

yeah, there is pretty much, no distorsion. crank happy trails up way loud and you hear someone laughing after dave goes ummm umm bama deda bumba deda then there is someone doing a weird noise and is not dave. but thats ok.

Absolutely, Dan. DIVER DOWN sounds a 1000 times better. The old CD version of that was the worst!

Achievements:
Yeah, that CD and Van Halen 2 had the most improvement from the remastering. Especially w/VH2, the CDs were embarrassingly weak and thin-sounding before. It used to be quite a shock when you'd have the old VH CDs in the changer with other CDs mastered in the 1990s...the VH one would end and BLAM! [img]graemlins/scared.gif[/img] the next disc would be twice as loud.Originally posted by Rikk:
