I can't believe it's been a year!

It's been a whole year since we were all caught up in the rumor that Dave was back and VH would be at the Grammys. Of course, as we all know, that never happened and here we are a year later and we don't know any more than we did then other than what Mikey has said and what ED said in his little video. I think I am a patient man, but even I am getting a little impatient. You can do quite a bit in a year, so what's going on? Come on guys give us a little something to let us know that you care.

I have been pissed for awhile myself. It really is getting old, but I still dig shooting the shit with the people on the board. I hope they tour this summer....if they don't it will still be cool when they do, but it will be a bit tarnished. VH is a summertime band anyways ya know?

When I look back at it, it amazes me how foolish we all were thinking that they may have appeared at the Grammy's last year. I think we'll have new VH sometime soon.

Of course, I've been thinking that for a long time. It's been three years since 3, but that was a different sort of animal. It took them over a year to get to know Gary and push out 3, and how happy were we with that?

Now they've got to get to know Dave again, and get beyond 15+ years of bad blood, indifference, and competition. I've never done anything remotely like that, so I've got no idea what all it entails. Do we want them gritting their teeth at each other in interviews, and being afraid of each other on stage?

On top of all that, they've got to make a kick ass album. There's a bit of pressure on the 4 of them, and things aren't even officially happening in an announced capacity yet. And we wonder why they're being quiet about things!

Yes, we all agree this is getting tiresome and down right boring! If it wasn't for ZMikey's few words we would have nothing to look forward to.Can't we all get along. I work in an "creative" enviroment where I have to be with people 12 -14 hours a day and do I personally get along with all of the characters....no!!! But for the sake of the "Team" We try to muttle through and get the task done. Do I have to love these people who at time are liars and backstabbers.....no!!!! And we are successful. Hey VH find a way and get it done. THe best music you made was with Dave

I think VH's situation is a bit different than that. We all have to work for a living, and I'd imagine that none of the guys in the band would have to work another day of their lives if they chose not to.

They've all got to want to make it work, for whatever reason. If they aren't enjoying it, why would they do it? People will say money, fame, contracts, or some sense of obligation to their fans. I really doubt it's ever gonna be 1984 again, they could put out a record with anyone for their contract, and that last one is only felt by fans.

They've got to be happy in order to work together.

No doubt, but if they were getting along wouldn't ya think we would have heard about the album being almost done. Or at least heard they are officially working on it.

Will you be comfortable if they are recording separately? It just kinda sucks that another summer may go by without any VH....let alone any type of official announcement. Ya we will all be honky dory when it happens...but right now the Natives are getting restless

Sure, we'd all love to get the show on the road, but I'd rather get a great album and have the guys getting along as opposed to getting something that wasn't finished properly.

If the music is taking this long, I'm cool with that.

If the personal relationships between Dave and the guys are taking this long, I'm cool with that, too. Because if they just bang out an album without mending fences, it will be their last.

In reality, given all the different circumstances the guys are faced with : age, health concerns, ego, musical tastes, familial responsibilities...

I'd just as soon cut them a bit of slack.
