What did everyone think of this phase? I kinda thought it was cool. Of course the real ed will always be long hair and clean face but that ed was pretty damn cool.(the reason why i have mine)

In my hairdressers opinion....
Ed looked so much younger when he got his hair chopped off........I loved his long hair when he was younger.....but, now it just makes him look older.......I liked the
whiskered look, also.........
I also liked the blonde streaks he put in his hair......
but.....however Ed wears his hair is fine by me......

Hmmm....I don't know. Their both cool looks but when I think of Van Halen I think of Eddie with his long hair. Just my opinion though. Although the short hair look was an interesting and unexpected change. Either way he still ROCKS!!!

Well to me what really matters is the music not the way they look. Having said that, I will say that I thought Ed looked pretty cool with that short hair goatee look!

Personally I thought he looked very bloated on the "Balance" tour. I liked his look though, an interesting change, but Ed just looks better with long hair.
