to me last night. When is VH going to put out a new album. It's been almost 4 years.
She said it with alittle bit of an attitude.

She enjoys VH music, I guess I would consider her a casual VH fan. Some of the other casual VH fans I know will not buy the new stuff because they are sick of the bullshit. It doesn't matter if God is the new singer, they are out.

Which is understandable, think of the bands that you are slightly interested in. If you had to wait 4 years for new stuff you probably would not even bother to purchase it once it finally came out. After a year of two you probably would forget about them, much less 4 years.

In my opinion, VH has lost their casual fan base. And they are making themselves look like a bunch of assholes.

Lawyers, my ass! OJ Simpson's trail was faster than this and he was guilty!

Sorry for the ranting!

I agree, that most of the casual fans are sick of VH and their nonsense with lead singers, and them not updating the fans on what they are doing. It's amazing to me that VH hasn't released an album in all this time.

But it's us VH fanatics that suffer the most!

Sorry to change the topic, but O.J. was not proven guilty in a court of law. Personally I think he was innocent all along. Personally I think the son did it (from his first marriage) and O.J. took the fall knowing he had a better chance to get off.

As for Van Halen...they are done, nobody really cares anymore, only those left on this board. Lost their 'casuals' when Sammy left I think.

I would guess that the casual fan is the one more likely to be swayed by a hit single. Which is why it's easier to understand why Aerosmith releases the type of singles they do. In order to sell millions, you have to appeal far outside a hard core fan base, and hit singles allow that.

"Not guilty" is not the same as "innocent".

And no way is OJ's kid bright enough to have pulled off a double homicide. And if OJ didn't do it, why was his blood found at the scene of the crime? And don't tell me it was taken there by Vanatter (sp?), I don't buy that lame theory.

Exactly Glenn, which is why I say DLR would not work commercially...DLR would never do that type of song. Not unless they (VH) have something huge over his head *lol*

Exactly, which is why Daddy (O.J.) came in and saved his butt by taking the rap for it.

Tests they did are not 100% accurate. Can still be the son as they have the same DNA.

I still can't figure out which one was better - Naked Gun 1 or Naked Gun 2 1/2. I remember back when I was on vacation with a buddy of mine from 8th grade and his family and we saw Naked Gun 2 1/2 3 times in the theater the week we were there. This musta been 1991 or somewhere around there. The 3rd time we went we brought these chicks that we met on the beach and they liked it too. By then we knew all the words and had more fun reciting the script to the screen than we did bothering with our "dates." The good ole' days!

I believe that at least the first moon landing was faked. The space race at that time was very serious. Elvis are Jim are deader than a doorknob. The Mars Explorer is an interesting one, but was probably victim to a meteor, or just simply missed orbit and burned in the atmospere.

The real cospiracy<sp> is what happened to VH?

since when did people starting buying albums because of time frames? honestly, i feel a little sorry for those that are not going to buy an album because of how long it has taken. if that was the case, some people would never buy half the albums out there. i would like to think that the general public is not that stupid. instead of spending all your time bitchin' about the timeframe, how about you let the music speak for itself (when it is finally released) and make a decision then.

Ok , Zadian, put down the Crack Pipe and get some treatment soon. There's not many things I'm sure of in this world however O.J's GUILT is one of them. You would have to have your head up your ass for the past 6 years to think otherwise. The civil case tied up any loose ends, he should have been convicted in the criminal trial. But I do agree with one thing VH is losing fans both casual and hard core. At this point they should forget both Roth and Hagar and get some young guy with agreat voice and stage presence and get on with it. And the Cherone debacle was a bad example of what Im saying.

Hey,I think we should have a "Why O.J. is/isn't guilty" thread at the fans meeting place.
I would love to share some of what I know as to how O.J. DID do it.
That topic has always made for stimulating debates.I just wouldn't want to do it in a VH thread.
Anybody game?
