who would you like to see replace JASON NEWSTED; i choose LEMMY from MOTORHEAD.
i think he would be the only thing that's gonna get them back to respectability (musically).

According to Burning Tires they did. He said he was there voting when they shut the poll down and the migthy VH was ahead. I guess we'll see this Friday night.

What the hell? Why did they still ask for votes when they used results a few days before they shut down the poll? Warrant sucks.

I think it was rigged. There are technicalities where Warrant could have won, but bottom line, VH was ahead when the poll closed.

I have two comments:

1. I figure that the shabby treatment VH gets from VH-1 and/or MTV is the legacy of Ray Danniels. I don't think that needs to be explained further. Perhaps when Mike talked to MTV recently, it was a step in the right direction to mend that relationship a little.

2. If I were "making out" with somebody special, and Warrant's "Heaven" came on, I would probably vomit all over the poor woman. Now how romantic is that?

Hey guys. I do have to tell you that the "Rock Show" did have a poll for the five best Hard Rock Guitar Players. We voted on that one months ago and Eddie won. They played "Panama." VH-1 also counted down the Top 100 Artists in Hard Rock history. Van Halen came in at #7 and in between the countdown, Eddie Van Halen was selected as the best Hard Rock Guitar Player of all time. Ace Frehley, Jimmy Page, Richie Blackmore, and Angus Young finished behind him in the voting.
