Can you notice any differences and are they worth picking up?

Depends on how much you are willing to pay for albums that are louder, richer, and fuller and have digitally enhanced artwork so that all the old ones don't look so muddy (you can actually make out faces on the front of VH1).

I'd recommend it if you're a stickler for things sounding "just so," as the remasters do sound MUCH better. But if the current albums never really bothered you, it would probably be best to put them low on the priority list or shop around until you find a really good deal.

The VH store the Inside runs is selling them for around $9, I believe... ($9.95 maybe)

you can notice the difference right away on some albums. mostly diver down and vh2. it takes a bit to notice on the others but you can definetly tell. also! more original artwork and stuff! really neat!

I couldn't believe the overall volume difference between the original "Fair Warning" and the re-mastered version. Go for the re-masters.They are well worth it. Everything sounds and looks better.

I put them in the first time and couldn't notice much of a difference beyond the volume increase. But if you put an old VH CD in, listen to a section for 20 seconds, then listen to the same section remastered, you'll really hear the difference.

At $9.99 for each remastered CD, you can't go wrong.

Yes, unless you're completely tone deaf you can definitely hear the difference.
