I was thinking about this, the last time we saw pics of Ed, was last Summer at the LA Golf tourney, and his hair was growing out.

That looks more than a couple of years old to me - both Edd and Jimmy look at lot younger than they do now

It might be from after Balance, but look how skinny Ed is there. He's always been skinny, but this thin?

nah..he's not that skinny. Look at his little pot belly under the big shirt he's wearing. He wore bigger clothes when he had some meat on him.

That photo is from late 93 early 94. There was a cover for one of the guitar mags with a pic just like that. I used to have it but don't know what I did with it. It had a nice little article about how Ed's playing has evolved over the years. I think it was also a readers poll issue and Ed won for solo of the year-316 ( live version) and VH won for best band and best live act, RHRN came in like 3rd or 4th for best rock cd that year.

It was taken on Jimmy Page's induction to the Rock Walk in 1995, this was the cover of a Guitar for the Practicing Musican Magazine.
I own it, I must check the correct date, D. Zappa, and Steve Lukather were at the event also.

I'll post the correct date later.

Lucky you! It looks like Neal Schon was there too. The date on the page says Dec 7, 1993 so that's when the picture was taken.
