No one knows for sure but it looks like he's the only one who is ever saying anything about the band. He's pretty much their spokesperson.

I could be wrong, but from what I understand he's on the VH payroll. I heard Mike comment on it. That everything Brad does he expenses it. Well, logic would dictate that since VH isn't doing anything, there isn't any income for the band (except royalties from cd sales and radio play, and that goes directly to their homes.)
No money for Brad and the Oficial VH Website. No updating.

While on the other hand, Mike seems to enjoy his website, and Brad is his webmaster also, he does most of work at Mad Anthonies Cafe website...

I have no first hand knowledge of the situation... but an educated guess is he's contracted to perform webmaster functions for the band's official web site. If his employers don't wish to make changes to their site it's their call... they own it. In simple terms he may just be performing the duties as instructed by his employers.

You are assuming the webmaster job is a M-F 9-5er... that may not be an accurate assumption if you understand the nature of the business.

What are you guys talking about? Brad has an extremely important and difficult job! Once a week he has the laborious task of choosing the "photo of the week". Every month (and I mean EVERY month) he has to change the guitar picture for the giveaway. And about every six months to a year he posts a message from the band. WHEW! That is hard F#ckin' work, fellas.

Brad is their internet spokesman, which is different than a standard spokesman/publicist.

If the band doesn't give him any information whatsoever to post, then he can't really do anything except to update the site when it comes to photos, stats, artwork, etc. Mike is different. He obviously keeps everyone in the loop when it comes to what he is doing as much as possible. However, if Ed and Al aren't giving Brad any info, then he can't say anything, whether it's speculatory or official. In the meantime, he's like the rest of us; he just has to wait it out.

My guess is that Brad's work for the Halen bros. is only on an "as needed basis" at this point. That website suffers from severe neglect. I dont think it has been updated since August. [img]graemlins/wtf.gif[/img] You can thank the VH bros. for that.
