State Of The Board Address....Please Read

Ok this week has been very trying for VH fans, and we have certainly seen the worst of it on these boards. We're trying to let everyone blow off steam right now, and get their angst out. As soon as we've all cooled off a bit, this place is going to be cleaned, it's going to to go back to the VHLinks we all know and love. We will NOT become the Army, this will not be a PD/Brad bash fest I can promise you that. I think the anger people feel towards Brad is completely warranted, and if you disagree, well you're entitled that opinion but I'm not interested in arguing it any further.

Hain and I played a stupid joke on the board, it kinda backfired, some thought it was funny, some got more irate, and I can see both sides. Again I apologize for upsetting some people, it wasn't my intention. Yeah I sound like Brad, but this is a bit different....at least I hope it is. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hang in there with us the next couple days, things will settle back down, the PD-like mess in Main will be cleaned up and we will get things back to normal. I promise.

We truly value all of your support and committment to the site and the board, and I do not want the last several days to be indicative of how the direction of the board will go, because it isn't heading that direction.

But I have no regrets speaking out against what Brad did this week, and I was very happy to see that Grant Fisher of the VHND did the same thing to the band on the Yahoo! list. It's about respect for the fans, and that Brad has most surely lost at this point it seems. To play these games with cryptic messages was wrong, it was wrong on many levels, and that's all I am going to say about it.

Anyways, I'm done rambling, but just wanted everyone to know things will be back to normal soon. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, I'll take most of the blame on that SeaHag stunt--in a moment of rage I made a joke and then dusted off the ole photoshope program and the rest is history!

But shit! Nothing pisses me off more than to watching the "Brad does nothing wrong" group babble on !

Brett, thanks for letting me talk ya into the scheme--I'm sure your MODS thought you had gone 5150(haven't we all?)

So if the certian person who "Sea Hag" was based on gets the joke(and there's speculation that they might not EVER get it!) and is pissed at me --sorry! It was all meant in fun!
