To try out a poll, which song do you like better? It's a hard to say, but my choice is Romeo Delight.

Achievements:
D.O.A. is cool, but it's no Romeo Delight. RD is one of the best songs Van Halen ever did.

Damn that's tough. I love the riff in D.O.A., but I guess as an overall song, ROMEO'S DELIGHT is touched by few in the VH catalog.

DOA! The live version of Romeo is always a show stopper, or starter, but that's (DOA) my vote. No chads alowed on this end. Out.

DOA.
I dig RD a lot, too, but DOA is straight pimpin'.
The solo on RD sounds too shrill to my ears. The little heatbeat/pick thing never did anything for me, either. And I don't like the way the guys end the song. Great riff, bass, and lyrics, though. Good as it is, I've always thought it was overrated.
On DOA, Eddie gives us not one, but two awesome solos, particularly the second at the end. I think Al's drumming gets overlooked a bit on this one. It might seem pretty straight forward, but it's rock-solid. Good groove. I dig Dave's vocals and Eddie and Mike's back up singing. Great harmony. The buildup at the end of the song and then the fade out kicks ass. It doesn't end; the song kicks too much ass to actually have an ending.
DOA is the mantra for Dirty Faced Kids, worldwide. Nuff said.
My favorite =VH= song of all time.
"You are the McCarthy of this board. The witch burner." - strungout, on yours truly
"Only Eddymon would claim victory during a FOUR game losing streak." - OLO
"Did I not say, 'I think we should shoot him!' I did. Double rainbow on this end. I require a high five. Out."- track 5, on the delicate art of banning
"If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire..."

Hmm, hard choice. With a lot of VH songs, it's a bit like choosing a girl on account of the colour of her hair. It'll probably have 2 B "Romeo Delight".
Use my hand, I won't look!

Romeo Delight by a long shot! One of my all-time favorite VH songs. I'm really not a big fan of DOA, so this one isn't even close for me.
"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne
"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello
"There is no heir to the throne of Eddie Van Halen. Nobody sits on that throne. Nobody takes that throne. Here's why it's different with Eddie: when a great guitar player passes, you just move on to another, right? But in this case, Eddie wasn't just a 'guitar player'. We're talking about a guy who changed culture and how we play guitar. He was like an alien coming in and fucking everything up so much that even the legends beforehand are like, 'Okay .. what is happening here? What sorcery is this?'" -Nuno Bettencourt
