I just picked up his best of cd. It sure was good to hear some of them songs again as well as some new ones that I never Listened to before. Two days later while in Borders books and music, i found David's book "Crazy From The Heat" in the last chance section for $4.00, Interesting reading for four bucks!

Achievements:
Yeah, Dave's Best of is a pretty cool overview of his solo career. As usual, you can nitpick the song selection to some degree; Damn Good probably should have been on there, and Tell the Truth (which I think is way better than Sensible Shoes) should have been on there too. And I would have loved to see Coconut Grove on there as well; it's the only Crazy From the Heat song not on there, and it's my favorite of the four tunes.
Great book too, very unique as rock biographies go. Doesn't follow the usual straight line, and that quietly says something about David Lee Roth. I'd love to have Dave write another book, though I wouldn't count on it.

I'd recommend it to any DLR fan..
I love that tune "Don't Piss Me Off".

Cool, I didn't know he had a "best of" out.
I'll have to check it out!

When I checked out his Best Of, the only songs I didn't really care for were Don't Piss Me Off, Stand Up, Tobacco Road, Sensible Shoes, and Easy Street. One more thing, Steve Vai is an EVH clone!

I REALLY love that CD!!!
I was listening to it today actually.
I would say that it is my favorite CD that doesn't say Van Halen on it.

Al is an asshole that’s all there is to it. He’s just not a nice person. He misses Ed terribly and isn’t dealing with it very well. Which is totally understandable.
