It's a Budgie song. I have a boot from the Whiskey New Years show in 1977 where they do this song. It's also on the Looney Tunes set saying it's from the Starwood in 1976. So it could be from either of those shows.

What's a Budgie song, Glenn? I hadn't heard the term before. Thanks for the info, by the way.

Budgie was the name of an english band. I have a VH boot where Dave talks about them before they do In For The Kill; Dave mentions that they never made a dent in the American charts. Budgie also had a song called Breadfan that Metallica covered years ago and was included recently on their Garage Days double CD.

May I present to you, one (slightly fucked up lookin) Budgie... Native Australian seed eating bird, Popular pet and inspiration of at least one obsure english band.

My bro and sis each had a pet budgie when we were kids. My sisters bird killed my brothers in the late of the night, by eating its throat. DO NOT FUCK WITH THE BUDGIES!

Budgie had some great song titles. Soundgarden covered one o' their tunes...a heavy trio from England>>>I've seen some o' their music 'round but haven't bought anything yet...a worthwhile "diggin' up the roots" kinda thang if ya can dig it!

Seems that Eddie and the fellas liked to bust into the riff during the Summertime blues outtro or in the middle of YRGM...

In For The Kill is also the name of a song Hagar Schon Aronson and Schreive (HSAS) did live.

Was that song one that didn't make it to the HSAS album? I don't remember it.

No it didn't appear on the album, but I have a concert video from Ca. where they do it. If I remember correctly they opened the show with it...
