We all know that little pop morons like Britney Spears have an entire army to write their songs for them but it gets pathetic when you're listening to something that's fairly obscure to a 15 year old and notice that the melody was lifted for a shitty TRL pop song.
"Second Home by the Sea" on Genesis's 1983 album around 2:13-2:30 or so is the vocal melody to the Britney Spears song "Stronger." I figured I'd tell someone after I found this out..
