Sam did promote the hell outta the doobidge!
Amsterdam is my fav of the genre. Can't you just picture Sam over there asking the guy behind the counter for some crack-weed? Plus Ed absolutely shreds throughout.
High Hopes comes in 2nd.
I wonder how many bongs Sam has. And in what shapes? Maybe a miniature Cabo Wabo with a few chimneys...

Shaka Doobie is actually about the day after Sammy's birthday, after Mas Tequila.
The line "everybody hates me and I hate myself" was written about when Sammy's wife and daughter were angry at Sammy for sleeping all day until 4:30 in the afternoon. Also, Sam hated himself for hurting himself the night before, by partying so much on Ten 13.Right Now you're reading my post!
