People that dislike Diver Down for it's covers should at least dig it for great stuff like Intruder, Cathedral, Secrets and Little Guitars.

BTW, though Diver Down and VH II are probably my least favorite DLR era albums, they are the ones I'm most looking forward to hearing remastered. They are the two that I think are most in need of being beefed up.

The intresting thing 'bout "Intruder" was that it wasn't even originally written for Diver Down. After they shot the "Pretty Women" video, they realized it was too long for the actual music. In true Hollywood director fashion, Dave refused to edit the video, so Ed and Al went back in the studio and created soundtrack music for the video.

"Intruder" is a mini-gem.

A great lead-in to Pretty Woamn, too.

I was talking to Lead Synth just the other day about this. I told her that the sound of Eddie sliding the beer can across the strings sounds like Charlie Brown's momma, you know?

And you know what Synth said?

She never saw the old Charlie Brown cartoons.

You guys know what I'm talking about?
