Black Sand is definitely my favorite song off of the DLR Band CD. It's a great example of Dave's ability to do songs in styles other than straight ahead rock.

A great tune. I think that it is the best song along with Slam Dunk, off of DLR Band.

What's freaky is if you look at the liner notes I believe it says DLR played the harp of all things on that song.

Cool or what?

Uh, Stuff, the liner notes with my Cd says he played "harp" (a.k.a. "mouth harp", "blues harp", "gob iron", "harmonica") on "Blacklight" not "Black Sand"!

What a great song to end a brilliant album. Absolutely out-standing, one of the best DLR has ever recorded, I'll never get sick of hearing it.

But I have recently noticed that if I turn my stereo up real loud during the song's fade-out that the song just cuts off before it has fadeded out completely, and the CD resets itself.

Anybody else notice this?
