I just happened to be jammin' on a Led Zep boot when R&R came on. I swore for a minute that I heard BFM in some of those riffs! Check it out where Plant goes "lonely lonely lonely lonely time" then check out BFM where Sammy goes "what I want, what I need, big fat money!" I think there is more than just ONE similarity here.
Of course, I could have just been reacting adversely to my McDonald's Sausage McMuffin.

Dude, this is eerie. Check out the piano part at 2.22 of Rock and Roll (studio version of course) and compare it to the piano part at 2.22 of Big Fat Money.
They are virtually identical.
They are both right after the solo.
They are both at 2.22 of the songs.
I'd noticed this months ago, but I didn't realize they were both at about the same time in the songs.
Good ears CK.

THAT is just plain freaky, Glenn. Gee, ya think it's all just a big co-inky-dink? Makes ya kinda wonder why they did R&R on the 5150 tour...maybe they had the tapes rolling then??? Hmmmm???

Uh oh, the anti-christ is popping up. I'll have to give BFM a listen, but I don't like Led Zep's music that much.

Yeah, they definitely sound alike.
I'm sure every great band has borrowed from another (even unintentionally), at one time or another, right? Guess that's why they call 'em influences.
