Alot of times when I'm riding around with some girl friends (friends that are girls, not girlfriends) I'll have a Van Halen album on and none of them ever say anything about it. I understand that most girls don't give a shit about "eruption" and "spanish fly" etc. - I'm not stupid but whenever I have the F.U.C.K. album on and "Runaround" comes on chicks are always like "oh this sounds good what is this?" It surprises me because they never say shit about "Poundcake" which to me is a song that girls would like and instead they ask about "Runaround." I like the song but I'm figuring that they're listening to the lyrics and taking them in - which probably isn't a good thing. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] [img]smilies/scared.gif[/img]

I've found a lot of chicks dig WCTBL? And almost all the chicks prefer Sammy over Dave.

Unchained Wolfie - You nailed it! EVERY girl I know prefer Sammy in Van Halen and their favorite song is WCTBL. Ironically, my wife loved Van Halen with Sammy, but her favorite VH song is the Dave era, "Panama."

It's really not surpsrising that a lot of females prefer Sammy to Dave since Sammy wrote a lot of "love" ballads with Van Halen.

As far as Runaround is concerned, it's my favorite Sammy-era VH tune. Great guitar riff and good lyrics.
