Bonham family emergency

Wow, I didn’t even notice it wasn’t Bonham back there. What happened? I think it’s Kenny Arnoff.

Jason had a family emergency and had to fly back to England. Kenny flew in yesterday at 6:00 AM and rehearsed with the band in the afternoon, then killed it last night.

The show tonight in Cincinnati was truly fantastic. The men on that stage gave the fans a first class hard rock show. The place was packed. Sammy said there were 14,000 in attendance. This may be the one time he came in under the actual number.

Surprise of the night--Jason Bonham had a family emergency and had to fly back to England. Kenny Aronoff sat in on drums and will likely play the next few shows. They almost canceled the show, but Kenny flew in at 6:00 AM and rehearsed with the band in the afternoon. That guy was a beast.

Sammy Hagar: The Red Rocker knows how to rope-a-dope Father Time. He sang his ass off and hit some high notes that I didn't hear the last time I saw him, which was 2022. Simply incredible.

Michael Anthony: This man is a legend. He played and sang his ass off all night. His lead vocals were amazing on ATBL, and he and Sam had some amazing harmonies tonight.

Kenny Aronoff: Professional as fuck and a beast.

Rai Thistlethwayte: I love what Rai brings to this band: live keys, energy, and fun.

Joe Satriani: VS was right. I really appreciate what Joe did tonight and what he's done for this tour. He stays true to himself, but you can tell he's worked his ass off to give us a little taste Ed.

I teared up during 5150 and I literally shed a few tears when they freeze-framed Ed on the screen for a few moments at the beginning of When It's Love. It was one of the moments that reminded me what we lost, and how fast life goes.

I loved the whole damn show, but my favorite songs for the night were Judgment Day, 5150, ATBL, TOTW, BOBW, The Seventh Seal, WCTBL, and When It's Love.

My heart was nearly full tonight. Long Live the King.
