I love that Sammy's memory of dates is so terrible. Plays Poundcake and he's screaming 1992, album was in 91. He did that in an interview recently, and Mike is correcting him. It's pretty funny - "no Sam, wrong year and album ..."

I think his most egregious one was in Florida, IIRC, and they launched into "When It's Love" and he shouted "1993!"

Wrong decade LOL. But maybe it all blurs together at some point.

I think it’s funny as hell he doesn’t know the years of anything. I’m sure it’s just all a blur at this point.

That kind of stuff is a hell of a lot more important to us than it is to them.

Was at this show; thoroughly impressed! Sam’s voice was great. Playing was exceptional. Joe did Ed justice. Bonham messed up the syncing drums on pound cake, but was quickly fixed. I was so happy to have gone!

Also, Red Rocker lager was great. Supposedly brewed inSt Thomas Ontario

Yeah, that always cracks me up too. I would think that, if anything, he'd mistake it for a year earlier like maybe when he actually wrote or recorded the song. That would make more sense to me.
