Joe is starting to get the groove of Panama pretty good. Sounding a lot more comfortable here and the energy level is better.

I was in section 305 and barely heard Mikey's bass the whole show, but the kick was still powerful, so I'm not sure it was a location issue.

I didn't recognize Top of the World until the C#5 chord.

This was always an issue with me at concerts. I never heard the bass. It was always so loud with guitar/drums. I love bass

The band broke into Dance the Night Away for a short period at the end of Top of the World.

It’s been a cool evolution though…. Joe seemed to sneak it in on the first show and seemingly no one onstage noticed. At the second show in Tampa, Sammy noticed and said “we’re dancing the night away tonight… Joe playing tricks on me up here.”
In Atlanta, Rai and the crowd started singing along, and then Mike seemed to notice and told Joe to go one more time so he could sing a line.
Then the last 2 shows, they’ve all been into it… though notably, Sammy isn’t actually singing any of it yet. Would be great if they take it further and Sammy sings a verse. I mean the crowd is loving it… sing the whole song!

I hope more spontaneous things like this happen as the tour goes on!

Oh yes. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Crowd was great as well! it was a bit sad though.Just the whole idea of this possibly being it.

One thing I loved about it was that these guys actually like each other.

I would be kicking myself if I didn't go. I would be lying if I said it wasn't a bit emotional at times. A lot of great memories. Thanks for keeping this site around Brett.

Totally agree with you man. And it is hard watching, knowing that Ed isn’t up there playing those riffs. It’s sad.

But it does look like everybody is having a great time. Which in the end is most important. A celebration of what Ed created.

Yes was a very cool moment to hear Mikey break into DTNA! Definitely one of many times I smiled Saturday night. I thought they were pretty dang loud or maybe I'm getting old? LOL Jason was absolutely bringing the thunder.
