Funny. I wonder if she saw Dave on her own, or someone secretly paid for her for Dave?

So for the people that got so bent out of shape when I suggested that DLR ever did coke, there he is admitting it.

Ehhh.... technically, he never said, "Charlie and I were doing coke." he only said "we were (loaded)" which could just as easily mean "drunk".
But I wouldn't bet against it, either.

Well Dave never says anything directly. It's always wrapped up in some babble. But loaded is a word generally used for drugs not drink I think?
"Charlie was chopping up a white substance with a gun...not sure if it was loaded but we both were..." is about as direct a statement you'll ever get from him I would say.

If I was really drunk somehow I would still have the ability to realize a guy chopping up coke with a gun was a place I should not be. However, if I was looking to do a line then I would probably stay in the room. I am of the opinion that Dave was not drunk.
I gonna go on a limb and say Dave has had his share of white powder and indiscriminate sex. I think it may be easier to try and prove me right than wrong.
It's stupid how much I admire this man.
That cracked me up, dude :D

He spoke about this girl on Howard Stern Show, albeit in a lot less "long winding" fashion back in the 90's. Sounded more entertaining that time.

Since DLR writes about doing coke with Ed during Ed's wedding in his autobiography, I think all of this discussion about has he or hasn't he is a moot point, right?

I laughed out loud at the end with his statement about husband's and cheshire cat grin.
Love him or hate him, that man has lived a full life.
Dave, you kisk ass motherfucker, gettin call girls to dress up in Catholic school girl attire for you for free?
Some guys have all the luck, and the chicks, and the money, and talent.
Good for you Dave,rock on.
How has he avoided the marriage thing?
Or just a paternity suit?
You mean to tell me he put a sock on it everytime?
I cant see that.

That's what I was thinking. I mean it's pretty obvious to me since he even wrote about that in his book.
Also, wasn't there a thing called the Krell Wars, or something like that, which he wrote about about? If I remember correctly they had big coke sessions on their first world tour 1978 with Black Sabbath which they called Krell wars.

Correct, DLR was doing "Keith Richards size thumbnails" of coke since 1978, to use his own term. Jenna Jameson in her book talked about DLR being a coke fiend. No, I didn't read it, just what she said on Stern while promoting it.
Most rockstars in that era were doing prodigious amounts of drugs. All the various members of Van Halen made it through it (with varying degrees of success), and it seems that DLR now gets high on life experiences.
God bless the man for it.
Yeah, DLR is the typical coke user if there ever was one. Come on, even Sam admits to snort from time to time.

And yet some people still flipped when I started a thread about it.
There are always some people flipping - no matter what you say. ;)
No wonder we have scared Ross Hogarth off!

At its worse, this place looks like the message board version of Hamburger Hill. Peek your head up above the grass and BOOM.

By that if you mean did the VH's say to Dave "No more of this talking and telling stories" and such I'd say that in my opinion the VH's never any such power since the band came back together. I'm sure Dave has always been free to talk about whatever he wants to talk about.
