Default Van Halen at my wedding!!

Hey everyone!
My best friend and I tied the knot the day after Thanksgiving and our reception would've made every VH fan proud!!
My Bride and I walked in to "Runnin' with the Devil"....Our first dance was "Not Enough"...The DJ played all sorts of Spanish Guitar music during dinner(my wife is Dominican), but also played "Spanish Fly", "Little Guitars", "316", "1984", and "Cathedral".
Garter pulling song..."You Really Got Me"
But the best came as the last song of the night...I asked the DJ to surprise my 9 year old daughter and call her up to sing the last song of the night which was...."Jump"!! It's one of her favorite songs EVER!! She got up and belted it out and made her Daddy and new Stepmommy so proud. Everyone was gathered around her in a semi-circle, and all the kids(and even most of the adults) were jumping around the whole song! Awesome wedding. Awesome time.

My wife and I got married in Cancun on the beach in 1998. We wanted to play music for her walk down the stairs and on to the beach. I talked her into letting us use Neworld. It actually sounded great and tied in to the whole beach atmosphere.

Wow!!

When I first saw the title of this, I thought it was gonna be all the sappy VH stuff. But your wedding sounded like it was great. That you included VH made it all the more better and hopefully special for you both as well.
Congratulations on the nuptials. You're off to a great start!!!

LMAO!

Thanks everybody!! It was an awesome time. I'm still tripped out about the whole thing...And it wasn't ALL VH either. We had everything from Salsa and Merengue music to Usher and 50 Cent to Static X and "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy and Anthrax. No stone was left unturned!!
