K.A.F is Kandahar Air Field , Afghanistan...

He emailed me back stating "the signs say Dec 5th".

He has no reason to make this up....he's there just like everyone seems to know someone "there"...he doesn't reply too much to my emails but he did give me a date. I told him to send pics and a report. I don't anticipate much more from him....so please "DON"T SHOOT THE MESSENGER"!...and if it does happen I'm happy for the troops from ALL THE NATIONS serving there!
