US group Implants Electronic Tags in Workers
US group implants electronic tags in workers
By Richard Waters in San Francisco
Published: February 12 2006 22:02 | Last updated: February 12 2006 22:02
An Ohio company has embedded silicon chips in two of its employees - the first known case in which US workers have been “tagged” electronically as a way of identifying them.
CityWatcher.com, a private video surveillance company, said it was testing the technology as a way of controlling access to a room where it holds security video footage for government agencies and the police.
Embedding slivers of silicon in workers is likely to add to the controversy over RFID technology, widely seen as one of the next big growth industries.
RFID chips – inexpensive radio transmitters that give off a unique identifying signal – have been implanted in pets or attached to goods so they can be tracked in transit.
“There are very serious privacy and civil liberty issues of having people permanently numbered,” said Liz McIntyre, who campaigns against the use of identification technology.
But Sean Darks, chief executive of CityWatcher, said the glass-encased chips were like identity cards. They are planted in the upper right arm of the recipient, and “read” by a device similar to a cardreader.
“There’s nothing pulsing or sending out a signal,” said Mr Darks, who has had a chip in his own arm. “It’s not a GPS chip. My wife can’t tell where I am.”
The technology’s defenders say it is acceptable as long as it is not compulsory. But critics say any implanted device could be used to track the “wearer” without their knowledge.
VeriChip – the US company that made the devices and claims to have the only chips that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration – said the implants were designed primarily for medical purposes.
So far around 70 people in the US have had the implants, the company said.

RFID is so accurate, you can scan a whole shopping cart full of items in 1/2 a second with 100% accuracy. In humans, crowds would be scanned in seconds, and everyone would leave a digital fingerprint, with their entire informational backgrounds downloaded instantly.

They should use this technology for anyone who goes to work in Iraq. Then when one of these workers gets kidnapped and videotaped for the world to see, the end of the video will be of the U.S. military breaking down the door.

Fuck yeah.
Or what about children up to age 16 or 18, it would help find kidnapped kids or runaways BEFORE they are in a bodybag, then once they are of age, let them decide to remove it or keep it? Just a thought.

How about if we just don't let anyone buy or sell anywhere in the world unless they have the chip?

what scares me is the evolutionary process..
what happens in the next 10 yrs is cold porridge compared to the next 100..
What if these small chips become mainstream..and are in everyone w/in 10 yrs? Then what happens if the body finds a way to biologically merge with this chip? And then, what happens when that merge results in the exchange of information between the body and the chip?
Soon, it will become a part of the body and when it does, it will become a part of the evolutionary process..before we know it, the first baby will be born with silicone in it..yet noone will have put it there...the body will have mAnufactured it..
Pretty soon, the body will make bigger and more complex silicone parts of the body and before we know it, we will become completely artificial..
To introduce electronics and computer technology into the human body will be the fatal mistake of the human race. From that point on, it will only be a matter of time until we engineer the humanity out of us and we become nothing but a memory, with the only semblance of our existence being the shape and format new races will take.
What time is it?

Notice anything familiar in that shape? Think back about 70 years or so.......
And notice the name of the company that makes them.
The Carlyle Group. Poppy Bush & his old friends the Bin Ladens. As well as other various CIA rejects and unemployed British Prime Ministers.......
From Revelation, chapter 13.....
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Heard on talk radio about this type of technology a couple of days back on coast to coast am so take it for what it's worth
Apparently the guest on the show was talking about if the government came down to implanting chips in humans for ID purposes and how your identity and personal information could be "hacked" by someone just bumping into you. He claimed that it's been proven that the RF signals coming off of these chips can be captured by someone who has a special modded chip and take your SS #, DL #, or whatever info that is basically on the chip just by touching you and nothing more.
Yeah I know it's Art Bell's show, but who knows right?
