I just spoke to a friend of mine(john) at Phil's Music in Mauldin, S.C. He said their Peavey rep. told them the same thing i said in the topic "Great Van Halen News" He said he went further to say that they had 7 songs in the can and would hope to release the new CD in May. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, I'd love to believe this. However, I can see Eddie Van Halen by the Christmas tree now. Valerie gave him another guitar as a Christmas present and he's asking her, "How do I play this thing again?"

I think he still has to paint the garage and build a kennel for Sherman before he sets the world on fire again.

Thanks for the news Halenizer. Let's just hope this VH bubble is about to burst...
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

If this is in any way true...then somebody needs to alert Warner Bros. Because they claim NO KNOWLEDGE of any VH music being recorded. After that...it has to be delivered to the label, APPROVED and sent for production so May sounds like a tight schedule for setup.

    WE continue to wait.

VH have been doing everything under very tight secrecy. Warner doesn't have to know when they are recording or not. If they know they don't have to tell any DJ's that they do. Or that VH could already have tunes ready to go (without WB even knowing).

The "bubble" that is about to burst is an announcement that Dave has "officially" rejoined VH as the band's singer, not that they have an album ready to release. If they do, heck, May still gives them some time to master the album, artwork, etc. Remember when KISS used to release 2-3 albums in one year?
