Personally, I hope this is wrong. I never really dug Jack's voice. Kinda whiny if you ask me.

Most likely a bunch of bull. Just another 1980's vocalist being added to the list.

This is about as likely as me joining the band! Jack Russell isn't fit to shine Ed's shoes let alone front his band. Ain't gonna happen!

this is also from melodicrock.com...dec. 18th 2002

GREAT WHITE SET TO TOUR THROUGH 2003:
Due to the demand from promoters and the overwhelming response from fans, Great White will be touring the world throughout 2003.
Great White featuring Jack Russell & Mark Kendall will start in the US and will be heading to Europe soon after.
The line-up will remain the same as it has been for the amazing House of Blues shows in December:
Jack Russell - Vocals; Mark Kendall - Lead Guitars; Ty Longley - Guitars; Dave Filice - Bass; Eric Powers - Drums; Yuko Tamura - Keys
The set includes old tracks such as Step on You, Down On Your Knees and All Over Now, as well as a Led Zeppelin track and one of the new songs from the CD Thankyou.. Goodnight.
More dates to follow......... keep watching right here and of course, the official website www.planetjr.com for more details.

I've said this a million times before - I wish these idiots would quit making up rumors that don't even make HALF sense. Why is it that every rumor starter wants to name some half-assed, talentless metal schmo that saw limited success as a possible singer for VH.

Yes, VH is known as a hard rock band, but NOT some lame-ass hair-boy poser ensemble, and I hardly see them ever being interested in working with the Coverdales, the Bachs, the "Mikey Steel" (what a fucking dorky name) types.

I think it's just wishful thinking from people that have heavy-metal tunnel vision and want to see their favorite singers outside of VH mentioned in the same breath.

Look at the names that have been confirmed to have worked with VH in the past ten years behind the scenes - NONE of them include pretty-metal-boy losers. NONE of them.

If were goin to start rumors, let's see a little credibilty attached to them.

You are forgetting one thing, also None NONE of those names we know they have asked or worked with are names any of us would have thought of in a million years, lets see..... Sas Jordan ? Mitch Malloy ? Patti Smythe ? so why would *ANY* name thrown out for a singer be silly ? it wouldn't Jacj Russell is a ridiculas name ? coun't happen no way ? but Sas and Mitch were ok for them ?
remember both of *them* said no *they* turned it down not the Brothers VH.
