i have some shows that are burned as a long track on the cd instead of each song being a single track...

since i already have them on my hd, the question is:

how do i split the show??? how do i make a long track become ten short tracks??? which software should i use??? music match juke box would do the job???

    many thanks!!!

    Hey Fabio,

one way is to split tracks by adding cue points to that one long track in places you want to track change happen...most burning programs understand these cue points...

But easiest way I think is split the wav. or mp3. file with wav./mp3. editor such as goldwave...

just open the whole file, highlight the part you want to be a track, then choose "CUT", then save that new selection as "Track 1" or whatever you want...

    and so on...

If somebody knows better way to do this please let also me know...

    www.goldwave.com

It's shareware so you should register it if you intend to use it after test session...
However it's fully functional even before registeration.

This might not be as versatile program as expensive programs for professional use but it's great to basic wav./mp3. editing and has quite useful procedure for eliminating tape hiss...and you can use it for free, if your self-respect lets you...
