Stop by and check out the new page. Lot's 'O Mp3s and an MPEG from 1980 TV performance of "And the Cradle Will Rock...".

I had "Loss of Control" promo ready to upload but the quality is so bad I don't think anyone would recognize half of it. LOL!

Stop on by and let's trade some Van Halen.

That's a great looking site, very cool. Couple of things.

    1. I tried to watch the ATCWR clip and it came up on Windows Media but the video didn't play and the sound cut in and out.

    2. The ATCWR mp3 shows Toronto in the name when you go to download it. Is it actually from Toronto?

    3. No matter what the quality, you should put that Loss Of Control vid on there. Alot of us have never seen it, and would love to see it in any quality.

Again, looks great, I like how it's specific to one year of the band.

Yeah, the WACF was one of their most unique tours. There should be more circulated stuff. Let's see if Jerel or homeunit will put any other MP3s up!

Nice site lctric-Don't forget about the infamous poster of Dave chained up in the dog pound shot by Helmut Newton that came in the album. Was this included in the remaster? BTW, thanks again for the SRV trade-those shows were awesome, and unfortunately, has started me on a quest for more SRV boots.

Thanks Guys! It's nice to see such support from the community for the new page.

Your comments are much appreciated and I have taken in everything that's been written and will apply the suggestions accordingly.

Yes, there was a mix up with the titling of the mp3s, stating they're from Toronto rather than Largo. I do have a Toronto clip up on the VHTrade page under my CD listings though.

I am in the process of uploading mp3's of my newly remastered (Normalized) version of Largo '80. Look for the clips to be up by this evening or tomorrow at the lastest.

Also, concerning the mpeg download of ATCWR. I'm not sure what the problem is with poor downloads. When I try it it seems to work fine. Please let me know if you continue to have problems with this and I'll try moving the files to a different server to see if that helps.

One last note on videos, I do have the "Loss of Control" video ready to roll in complete form, as well as a 2:30 minute version of the short ATCWR video that's up. The trouble is the longer files are quite large.

I'll put up some test links for the new larger files. Let me know how things work for you guys and we'll take it from there.

Are those 8 Largo mp3's that are on there right now the remastered ones you're talking about putting up there? Or are those coming later?

Hey Glenn, have you downloaded them? I'm getting Bright Lights, Big City. Is this the same show as 1980 London Invasion? I'm getting that show from Greg and I wanna know beforehand so I can compare.

I haven't downloaded them, I'm going to wait to see if they are the ones that lctric has remastered so I can hear what he's done with them.

I assume you meant to say Bright Lights Big Largo, not Big City. BLBL is the same show as Remembering Largo. 1980 London Invasion is a completely different show.

    Hope that makes sense.

No, I meant Big City. I meant I'm downloading that song from this guy's site. I didn't mean the boot Big Largo.

Okay, my bad, let me try again. While I haven't listened to it, lctric says the songs are from the Largo show, so I'm sure they are. Therefore they are not the same as the London show.

Concerning the Largo '80 mp3s on my site

As of 7:15pm CST I'm in the process of updating from the old to the new versions. I just began with Take Your Whiskey Home and will keep going from there. They should all be done by tomorrow or late this evening.

How are the vids working for everyone?

I had the same problem with Loss of Control that I had earlier. So I downloaded it; it took quite awhile, probably around 15 minutes. It works now that I've got it on my system. Thanks.

Yeah, I went to vhboots.com and found out I was wrong. Ah, Ron Higgins, the god of VH Boots history. So what is the bootleg site...Heaven or the bible for fans?
