Alright, the "Live And Loud!" cd is suppose to be the full show from Fresno 3/25/79, right? Well, obviously the last song played that night was "Bottoms Up". Or was it? On my copy of the Fresno '79 VIDEO they played "Atomic Punk" after "Bottoms Up". Maybe this has been discussed before and I missed it, but what do ya'll think about this??

I was under the impression that the"Bottoms Up" and "Atomic Punk" clips from Fresno were from the FIRST tour-They're shot from a different angle, and if you look at the set lists from the 2nd tour, "Live and Loud" appears to cover it. Plus Ed's playing the Strat when it was White and Black. I don't believe "Atomic Punk" was played on the 2nd tour. "Bottoms Up" was played as far back as 76. Regardless, "Live & Loud" IMHO is one of THE best Dave-era boots in terms of sound quality.

I'll have to go back and look at the video again. It looked to me like it was all from the same source. Although you're right, Eddie is playing the Black and White strat, but by the VH2 tour it was already painted Red, Black, and White. Or did he paint it during the tour?

We gotta get Glenn to help us find out for us when the Strat was painted again. I know that he also played the black and yellow Charvel strat seen on the VH2 album extensively during the second tour though....

Franky was painted in the red, white style sometime in 1979, but that's as specific as I know.

The yellow and black guitar was apparantly put together by Eddie the day of the photo shoot for the VH 2 album artwork.

A little bit to add to the Fresno '79 thing. Check out these boot cds:

    Blitzed In London '79
    I Want To F*ck Your Girlfriend '79
    Shooting Irons '79

In all of these shows they close with "Atomic Punk". I'm thinking that maybe "Atomic Punk" might have been played during the Fresno '79 show. But who knows, sometimes they played "Atomic Punk" and sometimes they didn't.
