I need some recommendations, please. I don't own any Van Halen boots, but I want to get some. Does anyone have any recommendations? Sources? Boots for blanks?

Thanks for the time.

Look around. Ask some questions. Be patient.

Yea i've got some recommendations for ya:

My first boot was "That's All Folks" which is the 25 demos that VH gave to warner bros and that of course lead to their signing.
Umm..if you're a big fan of the Roth era then ya gotta check out the Live in London cd from 1980 of the WACF tour. Real good show, and the fuckin guitar solo is UNREAL. NObody she be able to play that fast.
Then there's the US Festival double CD which is very cool.
There's "Listen Up Eddie" from 1981 off the Fair Warning tour. Another great show, and one of my favorite versions of Hear About it Later.
umm, if you're a sammy fan you can check out: "Feelin the Balance" "Secret Gig" "Live in Tokyo" (highly reccomended) And if you're a gary era fan you can check out: "Live in Australia" "Dirty Water Dog" or the live in Pittsburgh show which is a sound bourd recording.

Good luck shopping around bro..i guarantee you that after you hear some of their live shows from back in the day you'll get a whole new respect for all of them believe me! If you get a chance try to look for a song called "Let me swim in your ocean" the band fuckin rips it on that tune, and i havent heard a solo by Big AVH like that one in a long time. Try to check it out if ya cant. laterz
