I know a lot of people hate it, but I just love Romeo Delight off of the US Festival. "I forgot the fucking words".

People who don't like DLR seem to get a lot of milage outa the 'forgot the fuckin words' thing... I really dont think its a case of him forgetting the words, its just part of his show.. y'know. Geez I'm havin so much fun here, who needs lyrics?
Its just too predictable in the way he delivers it to be genuine IMHO

Just because of the rumors of the last few months, it's funny that Dave mentions David Coverdale in the 1980 London Invasion bootleg.

I totally dig their cover of "The Rover" on the Goldenwest Ballroom boot even better than the Zep original. If there had been such a thing as MTV's latest show , best cover band (did anyone see this crap?), Van Halen would have killed. Just to hear Ed tear up other people's songs makes them an awesome cover band.

Some bootleg highlights for me (no particular order):

1.) The extended versions of Ain't Talkin' Bout Love during the 1978 Japan tour.

2.) The cover of Summertime Blues during the 1983 South American tour.

3.) Cover of Born on a Bayou during F.U.C.K. tour

4.) Cover of Rockin' In The Free World during RHRN tour

    5.) 5150 (extended version)

Anyone have an MP3 of Rockin' In the Free World? Never heard their version of that. Someone does, please e-mail me or put it on a FTP site. Thanks.

We Die Bold is an awesome song, either on Goldenwest or the WB demo. It's probably on other live boots from that era too. It's a great song.

Lets Get Rockin slams!!! Get the Show on the Road is very cool too...and i love the cover they did of sweet emotion in the 1976 Live at the Aero Bogarts boot....the long, cool intro eddie does with a delay pedal mimicking the songs intro, but he adds his own thing...would love to see aeromsith trying to play VH songs whn they were 21! LOL..hell, id like tosee em try it now!
