Does anyone know of any bootlegs, either Dave or Sammy era that contains "Eat Thy Neighbor" or any other tunes from the last sessions i.e. "Summer Nights?"

Those are long-rumored tracks that have yet to be either verified or see the light of day on any VH bootlegs. You're not the first to inquire about them. There is one track from "5150" that was left off. It's called "I Want Some Action", and why the band deleted it from the album is beyond me. Even in rough demo form that song is hot. As for any early Dave material from those sessions, only Ed, Al and Mike knows about them.

Dave's name is nowhere to be found anywhere in the liner notes and credits for "5150", either in the CD, vinyl or cassette versions.

On the inside of the CD booklet it clearly states:

"All songs written by Edward Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Alex Van Halen"
