There used to be a lot of good sites out there, that either haven't been updated or are no longer around.

Where can I get a handle on some B-Sides ...

Well most B-Sides of VH singles were just other album cuts that are readily available. Once in a while, the mix was a little different, that's about it though.

Thanks for the heads up Brett !

Then I guess it wasn't B-Sides that I was looking for...Studio leftovers?

Tracks that were put down, but not released?

There are lots of traders that would be willing to help out with some unreleased studio tracks, there are a lot of them.

Go to http://www.vhtrading.com , they have a board that can help you. You can also try using peer-to-peer software line WINMX and Morpeheus to find unreleased VH stuff.

WinMX is where I found the live version of "Poundcake" from the '91 MTV Video Music Awards a few months ago.

I've also found a very clean version of "Unchained" from the '81 Oakland video. It sounds far better than the video.

I've also seen songs like "Angel Eyes" (a '79 leftover from "VH II"), "Stompin' 8H" (from Ed's Saturday Night Live appearance), the instrumental intro version of "Hot For Teacher" (from the Les Paul Tribute Concert), and "Firehouse", their cover of the KISS original.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

"I think it's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."
