I really can't remember. I'm pretty sure it was "Young and Wild", from Pasadena Civic Auditorium 1976. Bought that one in San Diego in or around '93 (???).

My first ever bootleg was a U2 gig from Boston. I bought it in Hong Kong back in '87.

Fur Elise--You seem like a cat with some real bootleg savy,so I don't mean to be a smart-ass,but Young and Wild is from Pasadena '77 right? The last gig at the civic center, where Mike is yelling to Uncle Ted during the YRGM intro, where Dave says,"We're gonna tear the roof off this sucka right now, where the band does a HEAVY version of SGMD..."...the last time we played here, there were'nt very many people...but now it appears things have changed...

Yo loons, that is my favorite boot of all of them. No shit, that recording could pass over today, and no one would know. The answer to the thread is a very shitty version of US 83. Bought it from my bro in Canada in 87. I thought I was the shit, and everyone else did as well. Man that was a shitty copy. Lol. Hey AR are you still around? I want my money back. LOL.

Loons, you're right. Got me on that one...AACK! I got that date, and the date from "Eyes of the Night" mixed up, since they were both from Pasadena, but about a year apart. I'm at work and don't have my discs with me, but I just remembered "YaW" was from Dec 20, 1977, and EotN" was at either Pasadena H.S. or La Canada H.S. in 1976.

Damn...I must be getting old. I turned 30 three years ago, and it's been downhill ever since!

My first was "Atomic Punks" on vinyl (12/20/77 Pasadena also) that I got back in 1982. Only problem was I expected all bootlegs to sound that good. Got the Anaheim 78 show soon after and was pissed!!!

Hey Fur--Age is a state of mind rather than a time of being!
I dig EoN,too. How about that LaGrange? Wow!
And you gotta love the 12-20-77 gig--even Howard Stern will play a lil' of it sometimes!

My first were US Fest and Stockholm 84. I got those both at the same time in Syracuse NY, a place called Desert Island Music. Used to always get my boots there from 90 - 93 then it disappeared.
