This is what was posted over at the VH1 VH forum.
I don't know how legit this is, but we'll have to wait and see if Brad what our fearless MUSHROOM has to say.

Here it is:

I wouldn't count on that information to much. First, the link you put here doesn't go to anything, you may want to fix that. Second, I just searched the whole website of NAMM and couldn't find anything recent of a press release pertaining to EVH attending it this year. Unless I am searching the wrong place on their website. Here, feel free to check yourself. NAMM
I would think that if it were true, they, if anybody would be the first ones to post any such thing. Oh well, we'll just have to keep hanging in there.

Would a real press release spell "anticipated" wrong? (aticipated?)

Yeah i didn't notice that Brett, thanks.

I also just did some checking at the NAMM site as well as the Peavey site and I found nothing to support this.

Please close now. Sorry for wasting your time.

The one I saw has the correct year on it, but "anticipated" is still spelled wrong.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

In regard to the 2003 Winter NAMM show, AJ at Peavey has heard nothing confirming that EVH will show this year. Who knows, maybe we'll get another one of those 'informative' videos discussing Wolfgang paper towel holders.

Now this is a real link check this peice of the article!!!!!

In January 2003, 70,000 international music industry professionals will attend the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Expo in Anaheim, Calif. Peavey will "exhibit" its confidence in the music industry, unveiling nearly 30 new products in its new, million-dollar exhibit, complete with acoustically isolated demo rooms, multiple 50-inch plasma screens and a theater for live performances by Edward Van Halen and others.
