    how fucking pissed do you think peavey & yamaha are at EVH & michael anthony respectively for signing what were probably multi-million dollar endorsement deals & then disappearing for 3 years. can you say, "LAWSUIT"?

    actually Mike has probably done his fair share of endorsements. I mean he hasnt toured, but hes been promoting. Ed... now other than his video last year... could have a point there.

    Yeah, I'm sure Peavey was expecting Ed to just forget about those silly little "chemotherapy treatments" and do something important...

    Well.... Ed is probably the ONLY good thing Peavy has going for them. They are pretty much a JOKE on the Pro-circuit, I can't remember seeing anything Peavy on a pro tour, other than that guitar. They would have to be out of their minds to fuck that up! Other than that, everything else they make is geared more to club musicians. I do have to admit though, they make a pretty good monitor board for club gigs, its a 16 x 6 or 8- I forget, but it sounds great! Great bang for your buck! Anyways.... Bla Bla Bla... Well in my opinion, if nothing were to happen with Van Halen, porbably the endorsments would be off.
    Peavy
    Ludwig
    Yamaha
    Etc...

    The amount of money these companies have recieved from Van Halen is probably more than we can think of, so they must know that VH is still on, so they will be back, let's have a little patience.

    WOLFGANG did the IMPOSSIBLE, he brought back VAN HALEN, DEAL WITH IT.

    seems like every time i'm flippin' channels past the country networks, one of them hicks is playin' through a Peavey. a lot of times it's the bass amp. there are guys on some of the guitar boards i frequent who swear by Peavey Classic 30 amps. but yeah, not real big on the rock side of things, pro-wise...

    Having Eddie's name on the guitar is good enough.

    Jordan's shoes sold even when he was out of basketball, and he didn't make any commericals during that time.
    CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

    The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

    The Boston Americans (1901)
    The Boston Somersets (1902)
    The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
    The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

    The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

    The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.

    PAF, I see you've been here a long time. I realize this post is almost 15 years old, but I'm new and can't start posts.
    I just wanted to add something under this endorsement topic;

    Since I first heard (of) VH, in early '78, I could list a bunch of stuff that Edward, at least had a role in, bringing to the world's attention, or at the very least, mine.
    In retrospect, I admire Edward's countless contributions to guitardom, and have complete respect for what he's done for the art of playing guitar, through almost the last 40 years.
    These aren't necessarily official, I just probably would not have known about;

    Holy crap. Did you go to the cellar to get this one? Lol.

    I never would have ever bought a peavey had he not been with them. They're not exactly household names for high gain amps.

    Pumpkin head always cracks me up.

    You gotta give Pumpkinhead credit for one thing...he was consistent.
    Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

    Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

    David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Yes sir...I did...and there's some freakay stuff down there.
    Actually, I tried to post on a surface thread, but it wouldn't let me, so I hit a related one, and it seemed appropriate. Plus, a couple of the posters are still active on it...maybe a trip down memory lane for them.

    I was just trying to point out that Edward has demonstrated the Midas touch on several occasions, and in more ways other than on a guitar.
    And I admit, I'm a big Peavey fan. They were well liked in the 90s, when I lived in Texas.
    It's kinda funny that after all these years, Edward wound up with Fender.
