It saddens me to think with Ed's near death experience he's not mature enough to pick up the phone and call Dave. It looks like Ed and Dave are still playing games. What else is new???

If for no other reason than to REALLY piss some people off, Ed needs to call Sammy, be the bigger man, take ALL the blame, apologize, and beg like fucking mad. If that doesn't work, kidnap the guy and make him sing at gunpoint (or at least under the threat of tying him down and forcing him to listen to "The Muffin Man" from that kiddie cd 1,000 times in a row at 120dB.)
While it may land Ed in an institution, it would be a nice play on the concept of 'renegade DJ hijacks radio station'. He could certainly claim insanity.

It would make for some great tv movies, and people would forget all about the soap opera we've been living through for the past however many years.

Imagine the video-Sammy strapped into an upright gurney, looking like Dr. Lecter (without the mouthpiece of the mask), singing his heart out for freedom. Or, toss him in a pit and goad him with a chicken bone. Ed can do the mangina dance for the camera. They would BURY every other 'shock rock' act ever to exist. Sales would be inhuman. VH1 would have to redo their shocking moments special.

Well, at least he could CALL Sam! Damn, with all that material, I would hate to see it all go to waste.
Don't bark at me...I didn't name ya.

Whoever is phoning whoever (Ed, Dave, Sammy), there's gonna be a lot of humble pie on the menu. And like ya say, it seems like they're maybe not mature enough to pick up the phone/fork.
