I love that picture on the back of the Diver Down album, yes album! I assume it was from the Fair Warning tour. It's packed all the way to the back of that stadium. Anyone know the location from that show? And what tour it was from (FW)?
That would be a great poster to have. I don't think it exists though.

From a previous thread in 101 (where I imagine this will be heading) that is the Citrus Bowl right hear in Orlando, Florida (it was known as the Tangerine Bowl at the time and there was less to it back then) where they played a show in 1981 with the Rolling Stones.

Ahhhh, that's why it's packed. They opend for the Stones. Where there any other bands at that show? Looks like they appreciated VH's performance. Which is surprising considering it's a Stones crowd. Cool! Thanks billy007. You didn't see that show did you? I went to VH 101 but did not see this quest posted. Thanks again.

Really, that's a great pic. The Inside was thinking about making it into a poster. That would rule!

Yes and no - I saw that show in as much as I saw a show on that tour, but it was in Maine where I grew up and the opening band was The Fools - not a Rolling Stone in sight (well, there might've been some guy in a wheelchair smoking a doobie, but I honestly can't remember!)
It was awhile ago it was in 101. I can't remember what it was titled but I guess do a search of 101 for the word "Tangerine" if you want to find it.

    speaking of Diver Down
now one of the main "draws" to these remastered CDs
being released is all the original artwork

now if any of you guys have seen the sleeve to the vinyl of DD you know there's a great collage of photos
    on it.

unless the cd booklet is gonna fold out it'd be impossible to transfer this image.

i'm just curious what they're gonna do. it'd be pointless if the booklet didn't fold out to almost vinyl size.

and by the way if u dig up the tour book from DD tour there's another version of this collage but in color. check it out if ya can
