So, I'm driving down the street today, and "Where Have All The Good Times Gone!" comes on the radio. No real point to this thread. Just thought it was incredibly unusual. Never heard that one on the radio before. Reminded me of a Guitar World interview in which Eddie was talking about hearing it on the radio once and realizing he screwed up on the riff or something. And I remember thinking, "I've never heard that on the radio before". Oh well.

They're pulling out all the obscure VH songs in preparation for the reunion!!!

"The thing that inspires me the most is my bottle of Jack Daniels. It's my best friend in the world. Ol' Jack will never let you down. He's always there when you need him" - Nikki Sixx, Hit Parader magazine 1986

"Van Halen is 'Get the fuck off the sidewalk if ya don't like our drivin' kinda music!" - David Lee Roth

"We get to the hotel, there's people partyin' in the parking lot, people gettin' down in the elevator, wow! I swear to God I had this one chick, this chick was poundin' on my door, she was kickin' and screamin' at my door 'til about 6.30 this morning. Finally, I just said, 'Fuck it!' and let her out of my room!" - David Lee Roth

I remember that interview, haven't read it in years. I think Eddie said it was the harmonics that he had missed on the song. I don't listen to the radio much, but even when I did, that's one tune I never heard played.

Not a huge fan of that song. People criticize Dancing In the Streets alot, but I think it's better than WHATGTG.

What radio station? Go and congratulate them for me! I wish I could hear that many in one day. I never hear more than 2 in a day, and that's rare.

    it was all different stations.
the songs were "WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD TIMES GONE", "PANAMA",
and "HOT FOR TEACHER". it was three songs and not four sorry about that.

btw GLENN, WHATGTG is 5th on my ranking of DIVER DOWN, DITS ranked 10th.

Dancing In The Street is killer, especially live. I've talked about this before, but I love how on the '83 Argentina show WHATGTG leads right into DITS. One of the best parts of the video/show.

Diver Down is my favorite VH album. Every song is killer to me.
