I don't know, but I DO know one guy who owns the album (not sure if it's CD or vinyl): South Texas Rocker.

You can find South Texas Rocker on the DLR Army forums, and the davidleeroth.com backyard and lounge.

    Sonrisa Salvaje
    was never released on CD.
it came out on LP and cassette only.

I don't think Warners ever expected to release it on CD. Keep in mind that was 1986 when CD's were still new and more obscure stuff wasn't automatically put out on CDs. The record really didn't make any kinda splash when it was released.

the only way you're gonna have that on CD
is if you burn a homemade one yourself.

Don't have an answer - but this raises another question - when counting album sales, does Sonrisa Salvaje get lumped in with Eat 'Em And Smile, or does it count as a seperate title?

The Spanish version of Eat 'Em And Smile. The whole album is sung in spanish. Neat addition for your collection

I have this on CD-r. Wether it was released on cd, I have it on a cd-r.

I've been curious about this myself. I know because it didn't do very well they stopped pressing them so I'd like to come across a copy.

Dave was ahead of his time with this release. Growing up in Pasadena and playing all over the world with Van Halen he realized that there were a lot of Spanish speaking people who were real rockers, but nobody making records for them. You can find the Spanish versions of "Yankee Rose" and "Goin Crazy" on Napster now and then, often mixed in with radio interviews from 1986.

The timing couldn't be better for WB to re-release this album right now (and it , along with the remasters) would hold us over until March
