I just downloaded a 2 min file from kazaa
its a parody of dave doing 'welcome to the jungle'
and its hilarious!!
Have you guys heard it??
You probably have, but if not you gotta hear it.
It really shows why Dave shouldnt be the singer.

This is old - but a very funny parody bit!!

But . . . "It really shows why Dave shouldnt be the singer" ???? WTF is that?!?!
Tell me how a parody SHOWS you that!!?!?

It really doesn't matter, 'cuz Eddie and Alex aren't doing jack shit anyways!!! They don't need a lead singer for a band that doesn't exist!!

I think that me be an old recording. I had heard about a "supergroup" that Slash was putting together w/ DLR, Sheehan, forget who else. But Sheehan is dead and Slash is supposed to be working w/ the lead singer of Buckcherry and the other former gunners. But I digress. I doubt we will hear anymore from Slash&DLR.
Man, all I can do is make music and put it out, and if people like it, they like it, and if they don't, they will sooner or later.- EVH

HUH?!?!??
This is an older "parody" - it was not a "real" song!!

I know Slash had put together an album with "Slash's Snakepit", but I don't believe it was to EVER include DLR - at least not that I knew of!!

Billy Sheehan is dead?!?!? How come no one ever told us until now?!?!?

I guess the same COULD be said of Eddie and Alex!!

SORRY!!! After research, Billy Sheehan appears to be alive and well(where the hell he's at is anyones guess!) BOBBY Sheehan bought the farm. Apparently he was the bass player for Blues Traveler. So, WHO GIVES A SHIT!!

i havent downloaded any music in a while, seeing as how i dont really like anything out there right now. But i just came on kazaa and for the hell of it typed in slash. Got it... its great.
The song seems to portray dave as being an idiot.
Which is basically the truth, i mean lets be honest.
"no wonder you're fuckin' unemployed, right?"
that was great.
You just know at the end that's what Eddie wanted (wants?) to do to dave!
"He better be wearing a fuckin' cup!"
anyway, i figured all you guys knew about it.

I met SLASH last year when I went to L.A. to see the Dave and Sam show, he was with Duff and Matt, they were really nice guys, when I told them I was gonna go to the show, Matt told me he heard that DLR had a very tight band, they said hey maybe we should go, I didn't know if they went or not but they seemed pretty anxious of the show, Slash was pretty quiet and Duff was really cool dude.

My songwriting partner (who works as a sound tech) hung out with Billy just a couple months ago at his gig in Oakland with his band Niacin (sp?). He said they were pretty boring. He also said their version of 'Mean Street' was equally boring.

He said Billy himself was not personable that night. May have had something to do with there being all of 50 people at that show...

What an ironic twist! All this talk about DLR and Slash, I found some shit on kazaa that sounds an awful (and i do mean awful) lot like axl rose singing with van halen! This must be some kind of a hoax. They couldn't have possibly let it come to this. So far I have found 5150 and Top of the World.
