I downloaded/burned it yesterday and have listened to it about 5 times and am very pleasantly surprised. I would say it's Sammy's best post-VH album since "Marching to Mars" and may rival that one. I would still MUCH prefer Sammy back in VH though. Come on guys, try another run with Sammy!! I think start to finish by far his best post Van Hagar offering. M2M, Red V and 10/13 all had something worth the purchase. But I can listen to N4S start to finish (except the Zep thing).

Sam has now sold 31,242 (12-20-02)
Gary and the Tribe 2,015

I agree with you totally on N4S. IMO, this is the first Hagar & the Waboritas CD that you can actually hear Jesse Harms on the keyboards.

Oh boy...

Yet another Chedhead trying to bash Dave!
I happen to know for a FACT that Dave's No-Holds-Bar-B-Que sold 350,000 copies in Japan!

C'mon Mard.....even you have to admit Dave's a nutjob - his elevator doesn't go to the top floor - He's one short of a six-pack - he's one snagger short of a barby (Australianism) - look at some of his recent efforts, I mean jeez let it go already!!!!!!

I think I might do something crazy and actually buy that album (N4S), I keep hearing it's pretty good.

so, you are just now finding this out? itis good, as noted, strong except for the zep thing. TOJ is well produced, but the songs all have this techno-sameness that gets old fast. there are a couple of strong cuts though.. left for dead and the second tune, whose name escapes me at themoment, has some nice guitar work right at the end. TOJ is hard to find...i had to order it here in el paso, a fairly large city.

Yeah, I guess I am just finding this out due to the fact that I never had possession of the album until yesterday and the only track I'd heard before then was "Things've Changed"

Yep, the numbers don't lie. All three are officially irrelevant as solo acts and all three releases will be in the "Where are they now racks" before years end.

Not4Sale is a good album, but I don't think it's as good as Van Hagar or Sammy's stuff during the Geffen years. As for Sam's post VH stuff, I think that Marching to Mars, is, by far, his best album.

I think I like N4S better than MTM, that's just my opinion. But that "Whole Lotta Zep" song does suck.

Sam hasn't had a good record since VOA. Maybe that's why he mentions that reunion in every interview. He's gonna loose it when Dave comes back. I can't wait. But anyway VOA did rock. I'll give him that one.

I have the TOJ album as well, but I also 2 other tracks that didn't make the final cut:

-"Need I Say More" (which most everyone here has already heard)
-"Difference" (very strong track. Too bad it didn't make it onto the album)

Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

Not 4 Sale is my favourite Sammy album with Kama wheel being the best song and agree the zep song is the weakest if your not in the right mood.Hard to choose a second best song as the rest are all very good right now probably Half way to Memphis
