I saw the video for Yankee Rose yesterday on VH1 classic for the first time. I have to say, DLR looks....odd in make up. His eyes scared me. Anyways, I don't follow the DLR solo stuff at all, so was the guitar player from the album Eat em and smile Steve Vai? I know he played with DLR, but I don't know when. Also about Steve Vai, don't you think it would be cool if he and Eddie played together for a song? I think that would be awesome, because both are awesome, and both have totally different playing styles. ALSO, I'm not really new here at the boards, i just didnt register until a few days ago, I've been reading here since that official thing shut down....i don't even remeber what it was called, lol. Anyways, who is CHELLE? I would almost swear she is related to a member of VH. I remeber back at that official thing, I asked who that so called "brad" was, and someone said he was a mushroom....I get no respect...

I don't know about Steve Vai's ego....it might clash with Eddie's ego. Chelle is a mod from the VH official website who is I guess in limbo while Brad figures out what he wants to do about his message board. Brad is in fact no mushroom, just a guy who knows everything about the band but can say nothing. He like blue tint. His avatar is him screaming into a digital camera or something.

PS...since you asked about Chelle...don't post any negative opinions on any member of VH. She will call you on it big time. Most of us realized they weren't gods in 1985 and I am not sure if she knows yet. Just be cool and be nice. And please, keep any negative VH commentary to yourself. People on these boards hate it when you either have an opinion or speculate on anything dealing with the VH brothers' treatment of past singers.

Chelle - I still love you babe, I am only razzin' ya!!
Van Halen without the original 4 is just not Van Halen.

Vai - Halen collaboration would be cool. Eddie on a G3 tour would be kinda fun.

Yeah, Steve Vai played on Eat Em' And Smile and he also played on Skyscraper. Both of them are great albums, and are definately worth picking up!
