Are we going to have to wait for Wolfie to start his own band before we get another Van Halen CD?

Yeah, this was the Rock question on the lunch program today on KSHE 95 here in STL. I was driving, so I didnt try and call in. But the question was, where was the show ?

    Anyone ?

Here is a clue : It was one of the few places Sammy Hagar had never played before.

Shreveport, LA. Now I have a question for you: what was the first bootleg recorded at a Sammy-era concert?

I remember the day that I found 'Hanging In The Wreckage' on RECORD!!! I went home and played it on my parent's 20 year old record player. Gee, time sure flies regardless of fun.

    Yeah...

They sure were a great band. I sure wish they could/would try again.

"Keep honking buddy. I'm reloading..." -The Mard

    "......HEY!.............alright............." -BIG FOOT

" I know what you're thinking: "Do I want to watch Mard? We know that horses were very strong and could actually stop airplanes from flying away. The ones made out of stone called "statues" -- occasionally came to life and rode off is a colonial cliche. How many more times do we need to hear about how the oppressive Raj's wore villainous black capes, crafted cunning plastic masks to impersonate people, and drained all the blood from their slaves so they could keep the fluid in bottles in their dungeons? I mean, YAWN!

But if you're willing to sit through this dry sort of historical drama one more time -- or even just this dry historical review -- you will not be disappointed. In fact, some of you might just learn something they didn't teach you in school!-

I taped one of those first shows--in Evansville, IN. Don't remember the date ... early April I think?

PS: I no longer have the tape

I use to have a copy of the 1984 show from Evansville but the quality was shit. I remember being all proud because my first bootleg show had turned out pretty good!
